Weekly Notes 01-07-2012

Faythe Harriers Coiste na nÓg & Camogie Club are hosting a Hurling & Camogie Academy in Páirc Charman this year.  

 

The Academy will take place from Monday 9th July to Friday 13th July. Both boys and girls are encouraged to attend, where their skill levels will be assessed and with the expertise of the coaching staff will receive intensive coaching based on their ability. The activities will take place within a framework of total supervision.  The Academy will be staffed by qualified coaches and will be strictly supervised at all times, thus guaranteeing an enjoyable five days for all participants. Under 8’s:

Our U8’s continue training for the Summer months on Saturday mornings at 11AM. Anyone interested in joining should contact Justin Browne (087 2190343) or head out to Pairc Charmain on Saturday mornings.

 

 

Under 10’s:

Training for our U10’s takes place on Monday and Friday nights from 6-7.00PM on one of our Pitches in Pairc Charmain. Anyone interested in joining U10’s should contact Sean Murphy (087 2069450).  

 

 

Under 12’s:

Training for our U12’s continues on Monday and Wednesday nights ; 6.30-8.00PM on our main pitch. Anyone interested in joining should contact Richard Murphy (087 6680630). Our U12 squad were in action last week in an away match against the St. Annes as part of the U12 Go Games League.

 

 

Under 14’s:

Our U14’s train on Sunday Mornings at 10.30AM Tuesday and Friday nights 6.30-8.00PM. Anyone interested in joining the U14 squad should contact Pat Henebery (087 2609958). Tuesday night see our First Team play the Raparees in Bellefield and on Thursday night they play the Martins at home. Our Second Team also play on Thursday night against Our Ladys Island as part of the U14 League.

 

 

Camogie:

Currently our Camogie girls train on Monday nights at 6PM on our All Weather Pitch. Any girl that’s interested in playing Camogie should head out to Pairc Charmain or contact Nicky Keeling (086 0832120).

 

We are currently in the process of recruiting underage players. Any club member who has a son, daughter, grandchild, neighbour or friend aged between 5 – 12 years, please contact Ann Slaven (086 8245166) or any of the coaches about joining the club.

 

 

Lotto:

Lotto results for 25-06-12 were; 19, 27, 29, 31. There was no winner and our Jackpot currently stands at €10,600.
