Weekly Notes 01-04-2012
Under 8’s:
Our U8’s have now moved outside to our All Weather Arena on Saturday mornings at 11AM. Anyone interested in joining should contact Justin Browne (087 2190343) or head out to the Arena on Saturday mornings.
Under 10’s:
Training for our U10’s takes place on Monday and Friday nights from 6-7.00PM on one of our Pitches in Pairc Charmain. Anyone interested in joining U10’s should contact Sean Murphy (087 2069450). Our U10 squad travelled to play the Oulart on their home ground last Thursday night and played Craanford in Pairc Charmain last Monday night.
Under 12’s:
Training for our U12’s continues on Monday and Wednesday nights; 6.30-8.00PM on our main pitch. Anyone interested in joining should contact Richard Murphy (087 6680630). Details of this weeks fixture in the Rathnure Tournament will be sent out to parents via text.
Under 14’s:
Our U14’s train on Sunday Mornings at 10.30AM Tuesday and Thursday nights 6.30-8.00PM. Anyone interested in joining the U14 squad should contact Pat Henebery (087 2609958). Last Sunday morning we headed to Waterford to play Roanmore for a challenge match.
Camogie:
Currently our Camogie girls train on Monday nights at 6PM on our All Weather Pitch. Any girl that’s interested in playing Camogie should head out to Pairc Charmain on Monday nights or contact Nicky Keeling (086 0832120).
Provisional dates for our highly successful Summer Camp are Monday 9th July – Friday 13th July. Details to follow over the coming weeks.
Tickets for the 2012 Model County draw are currently available from committee members and coaches. Tickets cost €50 for all 3 draws with a prize fund of €140,000. This is a major source of funding for the club so your support would be greatly appreciated.
Details of our Main Fundraising Project for 2012; ‘The Pikeman Challenge’ will hopefully be announced in the coming weeks. If you feel like getting fit or just interested in participating in a challenge, watch this space for further details.
Lotto:
Lotto results for 26-03-12 were; 08, 09, 15, 18. There was no winner and our Jackpot currently stands at €5,400. Our next draw will be held in ‘Bugler Doyles’ on 02-04-12.
