Under 8’s:

Training for our U8 Players takes place Saturdays in St. Josephs Club and Sunday mornings on our All-Weather Arena. Training times are 11AM on both days for all our young players. Anyone interested in joining please contact Ann Slaven (086 - 8245166).

 

 

Under 10’s:

Training for both boys & girls takes place, on Tuesday nights from 5.30pm – 6.30pm, Friday nights from 6pm – 7pm and Sunday mornings from 10-11AM,on our All Weather Pitch.  Anybody interested in joining this group, contact Sean Murphy (087-2069450)

 

 

Under 12’s:

Training on our All-Weather Pitch takes place on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6pm – 7pm. Any new player interested in joining please contact Pat Henebery (087-2609958). Last Sunday our U12’s played an away match against the Raparees. Details of next weekend’s game will be announced at training.

 

 

Under 14’s:

Training for this group is on Sunday mornings from 11-12.30pm and Tuesday nights at 5.30pm.  

 

 

Juveniles:

Training is Monday nights from 7-8pm on our All Weather Pitch.

 

 

Minors:

Training for our Minor Players takes place on Wednesday nights at 8pm on our All Weather Pitch.

 

 

Seniors:

Last weekend saw our Senior Team play Rathnure in Pairc Charmain on Sunday afternoon at 4pm. Our seniors took control of the game from the start and were leading by a healthy margin at half time. However, Rathnure came back into the game in the second half and managed to close the match in a draw.

Our Junior ‘B’ Team played Oylegate  and our Junior ‘A’ Team played ‘The Raparees’ on Saturday afternoon. Both these matches turned in two wins for the Harriers. Well done to all players.

 

 

Model County Tickets:

Model County Draw Tickets are currently available. We would encourage all Members of the Club & Supporters to purchase Tickets. Tickets are available from any member of the Club Committee.  

 

 

Membership:

Membership for 2011 is now due. Cost of Membership for 2011 is: underage player €20, non playing member €30, Student or unemployed €40, Adult Player €50, Family membership €60. Brendan Mulligan is Membership secretary and will collect the Membership fee from all Adult Players. At underage the Coaches will collect the Membership from their Teams.

 

 

White Collar Boxing Tournament:

Representatives from the Harriers competed with club members from the St Martins, St Annes and Glynn Barntown in a White Collar Boxing Tournament on 16th March in St Josephs Club. The night proved to be very entertaining for all those that attended. A special word of thanks to our Boxers: Shane ‘Baby Face’ Howard, Alan ‘The Barrack Street Mauler’ Lynch, Brendan ‘The Undertaker’ Mulligan, Wayne ‘The Mallinator’ Mallon, David ‘The Beast From The East’ Mooney and Philip ‘Bruiser’ Doyle.  

 

 

Tesco Vouchers:

The Club is currently collecting Tesco Vouchers in order to acquire additional Hurling Equipment. Vouchers can be given to either Ann Slaven, Pat Henebery or Richard Murphy.

 

 

Lotto:

Lotto results for week ended 14-03-11 were; 04, 06, 19, 30. There was no winner of our Jackpot and it currently stands at €4,200. The next draw will take place in ‘The Sailing Cot’ on 21-03-11.
