It was great to see so many players turn up for our first friendly match of the season against Glynn Barntown. Two games took place and all players had the chance to participate in at least one full match. Next weekend it is hoped to have a home game against the Shelmaliers.

Juveniles:
Training times are Monday nights from 7-8pm on our All Weather Pitch. On Saturday 5th March our Juveniles played the Rower (Kilkenny) Hurling Club in Inistioge, in the first round of the Leinster Hurling League. The players show great promise for the coming season and were unfortunate not to secure a win in their first match of the season.
Minors:
Training for our Minor Players takes place on Wednesday nights at 8pm on our All Weather Pitch. On Wednesday 2nd March our Minors traveled to Piltown, to play Kilmacow in a friendly Match under lights. It was a slow start to the match for the Harriers and they were 4 points down after the opening minutes of the game, however they came back to secure a comfortable win. The management were extremely happy with the performance and commitment of the players.
Congratulations to Con O’Donnagain, Rhys Clarke and Colm Heffernan in contributing to the recent County Minor win.
