Weekly Notes 13-02-2011
Under 8’s:
Training for our U8 Players takes place on Saturdays and Sunday mornings in St. Josephs Club. Training times are 11AM on Saturday & Sunday mornings for all our young players. Anyone interested in joining please contact Ann Slaven (086 - 8245166).
Under 10’s:
Training for this group takes place on Tuesday nights from 5.30pm – 6.30pm, Friday nights from 6pm – 7pm and Sunday mornings from 10-11AM,on our All Weather Pitch. Anybody interested in joining this group, please contact Sean Murphy (087-2069450)
Under 10 Girls:
Training times are; 5.30pm – 6.30pm on Tuesday nights, 6pm-7pm on Friday nights and Sundays from 10-11AM. Anyone interested in joining please contact Kim Walsh (086-8353651)
Under 12’s:
Training on our All-Weather Pitch takes place on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6pm – 7pm. Any new player interested in joining please contact Pat Henebery (087-2609958)
Under 14’s:
Training has resumed for this group on Sunday mornings from 11-12.30pm. On Sunday 20-02-11, our U14’s will play a friendly match against Roanmore (Waterford) at home. All players will be informed via a Text message regarding what time the match commences.
Juveniles:
Training times are Monday nights from 7-8pm on our All Weather Pitch. Roanmore are also bringing their juvenile team to Wexford on Sunday 20th. All Players will be informed as to what time the match starts.
Minors:
Training for our Minor Players takes place on Wednesday nights at 8pm on our All Weather Pitch.
Seniors:
Fitness Training for all Adult players takes place in Patrick Dobbs Fitness Centre on Monday and Wednesday nights at 8pm.
Model County Tickets:
Model County Draw Tickets will be available soon. We would encourage all Members of the Club & Supporters to purchase Tickets. Tickets will be available from members of the Club Committee. Further details to follow over the coming weeks.
Membership:
Membership for 2011 is now due. Cost of Membership for 2011 is: underage player €20, non playing member €30, Student or unemployed €40, Adult Player €50, Family membership €60. Brendan Mulligan is Membership secretary and will collect the Membership fee from all Adult Players. At underage the Coaches will collect the Membership from their Teams.
White Collar Boxing Tournament:
Representatives from the Harriers will compete with club members from the St Martins, St Annes and Glynn Barntown in a White Collar Boxing Tournament on 16th March in St Josephs Club. Tickets are €15.00 each and are available from Ann Slaven (086-8245166).
Hurling Forum:
As agreed at the Club AGM before Christmas, a Club Forum to debate Hurling is to take place on 02-03-11. All Members and friends of the Club are invited to attend. Full details to follow
Lotto:
Lotto results for week ended 06-02-11 were; 03, 12, 21, 23. There was no winner of the Jackpot and it currently stands at €5,400. The next draw will take place in ‘The Gaelic Bar’ on 14-02-11.
